‎The Daily: The Sunday Read: 'In the Line of Fire' on Apple Podcasts – Optional Listening

This podcast is an excellent piece on prisoners working as firefighters in California at one of the women’s prisons.  I have mixed feelings on the prisoner work because in some aspects it appears like rehabilitation; however, most of these prisoners aren’t able to get jobs in the field after their release. 

[The podcast title implies it comes out everyday, but it doesn’t come out on Saturdays. It does usually deal with an in depth look at specific issue in the news. Monday to Friday are shorter pieces on the news with interviews. Sunday’s are longer piece with a story being read to you.]
