Death Penalty issues
Tsarnaev was convicted for his role in the Boston Marathon bombings and sentenced to death. The Court of Appeals vacated his death sentence, since jurors were not adequately questioned and evidence was improperly excluded. The United States argues that the sentence should be reinstated.
