The Enforcement Act of 1870 (the Force Act)

This is the statute that is mostly at issue in United States v. Cruikshank and United States v. Reese. Much of Cruikshank discusses section 6. I also believe that part sof the indictment at issue on Cruikshank are predicated on section 16 and section 19 of the Act.
